The city of Boston offers the student lessons in history and fine dining. Visitors can see The Boston Commons and do some afternoon shopping at Quincy Marketplace. Salem to the north documents the the infamous witch hunt period in our history. The outlying suburbs host differnt festivals, farmers markets and ceremonies. We are currently looking for Academic Guides in Canada! The Fraser Valley in Beautiful B.C., is located approximately 45 min east of Vancouver City. The Valley is very diverse in its geography ranging from flat lands to mountains and everything in between. This area boasts some of the best farmland in BC bearing everything from berries, dairy to tulips. The areas of these rich farmlands produce some of BC's Western Canada's best berries and Corn. It also is home to some of the best camping and hiking trails in the province. It has a rural feeling but has all the amenities of a larger metropolitan area. The larger centers have all the shopping a person could want and restaurant, theatres and hotels galore. There is a great variety of historic museums, fishing tours, wonderful beaches to swim and relax at as well as numerous Gardens and Waterfalls to view. Central BC is located approximately 3-4 hours east of Vancouver. The landscape in central BC is also very diverse in its geography, ranging from desert to lush green vegetated areas. This area is totally surrounded by mountains and lakes. Central BC is Canada's capital for Fruit growing and Wineries. The area is a recreation lover's dream. With a hot summer it hosts a great deal of water sports and golf, and the winter months are cold enough to keep the snow on the surrounding mountains so, snow sports are in abundance. Hiking and camping are outstanding. Boat tours of all kinds are available because of the area being surrounded by lakes. The Okanagan also claims to have the Ogopogo that is a relative they say to the Loch Ness monster in Scotland. Eastern BC is approximately 8 hours east of Vancouver and is located amongst the Rocky Mountains. With that in mind we can imagine the magnificent scenery. There are many smaller communities with numerous farms and logging Industries. The camping and hiking spots are world renown. In the winter Heli-skiing is very popular as well as white water rafting in the summer. Hot Springs in this area are abundant. Shopping, Restaurants and Hotels are plentiful. Northern BC. is located approximately 8 hours north and northern east/west of Vancouver. Again it diverse in its geography. It has numerous smaller communities located in mountainous areas, farming communities and seaports. The northern area of BC was famous for it's gold and silver mining. Hence, we have Barkerville, a small town totally done in the era of the mid to late 1800's gold rush community. This is an attraction listed in the BC tourism attractions. The seaport towns are famous for fishing, scuba diving and all round water sports. Northern BC is known for the thousands of small lakes making fishing and camping a favorite.
